A helping hand makes all the difference in this
WHPcommunity submission from 19-year-old Soumesh Pandey (@camerawalebhaiya). “The essence of power within the frame encouraged me to take the shot,” he explains. “It depicts how in every bad situation you can fight back if you get help from your surroundings.”

“Being an expat and working far away from my family and country is hard. I’ve been living and working in Dubai for the past 12 years,” says Mark Hebres (@est0y), an interior designer who is originally from the Philippines. “The good thing is, during this period, I’ve met people who I can turn to through the good times and bad times.”

Growing up and traveling to far-off places instilled a love of landscape in artist Zaria Forman (@zarialynn). “My mother was a fine-art photographer, she was very interested in really remote landscapes and getting as far away from cities and people as she could for her photography. Every summer for about one month, we would travel to pretty remote places,” says Zaria, who is based in Brooklyn, New York, and documents climate change through her pastel work. “We take action to make decisions based on our emotions more than anything else. I have this special ability with my talent as an artist to tap into emotions, because that’s what art does.”
To learn more about Zaria’s art and process, check out today’s story and our IGTV channel.
Today on IGTV, we’re with photographer and creator Bryant Eslava (@bryant). 🌟 Tune in now to go behind the scenes with Bryant on a shoot.

Hello, world! Meet this little piggy named Stella (@stellamaxpig), an 18-month-old potbellied pig from Boston. Litter box-trained Stella loves to cuddle, sleep, eat and lounge in front of the fire, says her human Claudia. “Lots of people ask, ‘Are pigs like a cat or dog?’ The truth is, they have some doglike and catlike tendencies, but they are more like a child,” says Claudia, who says caring for a pig takes more time and energy than most people expect. “Pigs are stubborn but very smart, and it takes patience to develop that special bond. But they have so much love to give in return.”
Tonight, we’re with Bad Bunny (@badbunnypr) in Las Vegas for the Latin Grammy Awards. Check out our story now to go behind the scenes as he prepped for the big night.

“I really like that it’s not so much about the place as it is about the mood,” says William Smith (@billsmith25) of his
WHPseasonal submission. “Many times I set out to capture a certain mood rather than the place. Here it’s the beauty of the fall, its atmosphere and the connection between a father and son taking photos together.”

“I nipped into the garden and collected these leaves five minutes before shooting. They were still covered in dew!” says Tamsyn Morgans (@tamsynmorgans). “I love the expression on my daughter’s face. It was a really fun 10 minutes of creativity that we had before I got on with cooking lunch, and she carried on with her homework. It was a team effort to create this photo.”

“The first snowfall of the year for Michigan happened on the day Instagram announced its weekend hashtag,” says Jessica Rainey (@jlrainey), who is a stay-at-home mom and photographer who lives in Detroit. “Winter is a favorite of mine, especially those early snowfalls. I wanted to capture those first glimpses of my daughter and give the photo as much wonder as I could.”
